With his latest studio album Revival set to be released soon, Eminem made a rare TV appearance, joining Chance The Rapper as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend.
Opposed to performing two separate songs, as per the protocol for the musical guest on SNL, Eminem bypassed that and instead did a nine-minute medley of 3 songs, which of course has sent his fans into delirium.
Accompanied by Skyler Grey on vocals and piano, along with an orchestra and choir, Eminem started off performing his new track Walk on Water (with Skyler Grey performing Beyoncé’s part), which Eminem and Grey debuted at the MTV European Music Awards.
Walk on Water was completely expected as it’s been the first and only glimpse of Eminem’s new upcoming album so far. However, it was the sudden introduction of Stan followed by a few verses of Love The Way You Lie, with Skyler Grey taking on Dido and Rihanna’s parts in those songs too that really sent people into meltdown.
Eminem is a genius. That is all. #SNL

Eminem goes from “Walk on Water” into “Stan” then “Love the Way You Lie”. Let's hope we will still get something new and that's not all #Eminem #Revival

My tea’s gone cold, I’m wondering why I got out of bed at all. The morning rain clouds up my window, and I can’t see at all. And even if I could it’ll all be gray, but your picture on my wall. It reminds me that it’s not so bad, it’s not so bad.
